Sports Law

As a universal fact covering all people without any biological or sociocultural distinction today, sports are distinguished in two classes; as activities of biological and psychological dimension performed by individuals as private activities on basis of healthy living, and as activities of social and economic dimension involving large industries reaching large masses with professional, commercial, organised and global sports clubs and associations, professional athletes, material suppliers, sports media, advertisers and sponsors.

Sports law holds a very different position in comparison to other branches of law, with its self-regulatory nature, its two track structure where national federation and state law is applied in conjunction with international law, the economic importance of participants like sponsors, and it composite structure connected many branches of law.
